Switching off your device
Turn off your device by holding down the power button until the “Power off” option appears.
Use your finger to confirm that you want to shut down your Galaxy S8 Plus and wait until the screen goes blank.
Removing the back cover
The back cover’s really glued to the chassis. Heat the device evenly with hot air to soften the glue.
Then carefully try to lift the rear glass using a flat, blunt tool. It’s best if you find a loose spot where you can insert the first pick. Then work your way around the device step by step.
Use a suction cup to lift the glass if you can’t find anywhere to insert the toolThis step can take a pretty long time. You may have to heat the rear glass or the glue a few more times before you can finally detach itDon’t take off the back cover all the way because you have to disconnect the connector for the fingerprint reader first.
Disconnecting the fingerprint sensor
After detaching the back cover, carefully lift it and disconnect the fingerprint sensor using the spudger.
Then you can completely remove the back cover and set it aside.
Removing the NFC antenna
11 × 3,8 mm Phillips Schraube

Remove the screws that attach the upper cover to the display.
The cover is latched onto the case. Slide a flat tool under the latches to disconnect them.
Now remove the antenna.
Disconnecting the battery contact
Using the spudger, carefully disconnect the battery contact from the motherboard.
Removing the speaker

Remove the screws that attach the speaker to the display.
Use a flat object like a pair of tweezers to detach the speaker and then remove it.

Removing the battery
Be very careful during this step. For this step, use a flat, blunt tool like the iSesamo to avoid damaging the battery.
The battery’s really glued to the enclosure, so be very careful when you’re removing it. Carefully detach the battery from the enclosure. First insert your tool on the side between the battery and the enclosure. Slowly and carefully pry out the battery.
Repeat this process on the other sides of the battery. Make sure you don’t damage the motherboard or other components.
Once you’ve detached the glue, you can remove the battery from the enclosure.
Preparing the new battery
Remove the first protective film from the battery adhesive strip.
Attach the adhesive strip to the battery.
Press down the adhesive strip to glue it on and remove the second film.
Inserting the battery
Put the battery in the enclosure. It fits perfectly into the compartment in the middle of the enclosure.
Press the battery firmly into the enclosure so the glue will stick better.
Installing the speaker

Now put the speaker at the lower end of the enclosure.
Press it gently with your fingers until it clicks into place in the enclosure.
Then reinsert the marked screws.
Connecting the battery
Connect the battery to the motherboard. Press the contact onto the connection on the motherboard until you hear it click into place.
Installing the NFC antenna

Put the cover with the antenna back in the enclosure after hooking it onto the top of the enclosure.
Then press the cover with your fingers until it clicks gently into place all over.
Fasten the phillips screws.
Attaching the back cover
Put the back cover back in its original position.
Connect the fingerprint sensor again.
Press the back cover on all over so the glue will stick.
You can also heat your device with hot air and then clamp it or weight it down with a couple books so the glue will stick better.
