  1. Turn off the device

    1. Turn off your device before you start. To do this, drag the status bar from the top of the screen downwards in two steps until the Icon to turn off appears.
    2. Confirm the icon then with a Tap and follow the instructions on the screen.
  2. Remove sim card holder

    1. Remove the sim card holder with the provided Sim tool provided.
  3. Heat up the back cover

    1. Heat the edge of the backcover evenly with a hot air gun or hair dryer. Make sure to heat the backcover evenly and do not use too high of a temperature.
  4. Remove the back cover

    You can use the iSclack for this step, which will make it much easier for you.

    1. Once the back cover is properly warmed up, you can lift it with a suction cup and insert a plectrum into the resulting gap.
    2. Then you carefully lift off the back cover with the Plectrum to slowly loosen the adhesive more and more.

  5. Remove the upper board cover

    It's recommended that you store the screws on a magnetic mat or in other suitable storage so that no screws get lost or mixed up.

    1. Remove the eight marked screws with a Phillips Screwdriver and then lift off the top board cover.
  6. Disconnect battery connector

    1. Now disconnect the battery connector with a non-metallic object like a spudger to avoid short circuits during the repair.
  7. Remove lower board cover

    • 7 × Phillips 4,2mm
    1. Remove the seven marked screws.
    2. Now carefully lift out the lower board cover.
  8. Remove connecting cable

    1. Now loosen the two highlighted connectors of the connection cable and take it out.
  9. Remove the battery

    Now comes probably the most time-consuming step of the repair. Keep calm and proceed patiently, then you should come to the desired result

    1. Heat the battery slowly and evenly with a hot air gun or hair dryer.
    2. Try to loosen it carefully with the battery spudger and lever it out.

  10. Remove fingerprint sensor

    The fingerprint reading camera is slightly glued in place.

    1. Gently warm it up with a hair dryer or hot air gun.
    2. Disconnect the marked Connector.
    3. Remove the fingerprint sensor.
  11. Remove the antenna cable

    1. Disconnect the two cables from the highlighted connectors and then lift them out.

  12. Remove the USB board

    1. The highlighted connector is slightly stuck. Heat it something and then loosen it.
    2. Then remove the highlighted screw with a Phillips screwdriver and put the screw aside.
    3. You can now lift out the USB board now lift out.
  13. Remove the vibration motor

    1. The vibration motor is also slightly glued in place. After you have slightly heated it up, you can easily remove it with tweezers.
  14. Remove the front camera

  19. Insert the front camera

    2. Reconnect the highlighted connector.

    Make sure it snaps into place with a slight click.

  22. Inserting the fingerprint sensor

    2. Connect the highlighted connector.
  23. Insert the antenna cables

    1. Put the two antenna cables back into the provided hollows and then reconnect them to the corresponding sockets.

    The slots are labeled B for Blue and R for Red.

  24. Insert the battery

    1. Insert the battery back into the display unit and gently press it into place. Make sure that it is positioned correctly in the center.
  25. Reconnect the connection cable

  27. Connecting the battery connector

  29. Test the phone

    1. For this, open the phone app and enter: *#0*#
    2. Then follow the instructions of the test menu.
