Turn off Galaxy A13
Before the repair, we recommend you to check all functions of the device. You are welcome to use our checklist for this, we link it to you in the video description.

Before you start, turn off your device. To do so, press and hold the standby button on the side until the power off option appears on the display.
Remove sim card holder
Next, remove the sim card holder using the tool provided for this purpose.
Remove back cover
The back cover is slightly glued at the corners.
Watch out for the fingerprint sensor cable when removing the backcover.
It's best to heat the corners with a hot air gun or hair dryer.
Then you can insert a plectrum between the display frame and back cover and carefully loosen the brackets one by one.
Remove upper board cover

Remove the marked Phillips screws and take off the cover.

Disconnecting the battery
Battery Connector

Separate the battery connector with a non-metallic object, e.g. a spudger.
Disconnect fingerprint sensor

Now disconnect the fingerprint sensor connector with the spudger as well.

Now detach the highlighted connector.
Remove battery

iPlastix Opening Tool
Warm the battery carefully with a hot air gun or hair dryer. Make sure that the battery is not too warm.
Then lever out the battery with a suitable tool, such as the battery spudger. In any case, make sure not to damage any surrounding parts or cables when levering.
If the bonding is difficult to release, you can also use a second tool to loosen the adhesive. We recommend the iPlastix to not damage the battery.

Prepare new battery
Visually inspect the new battery and then remove all protective films.
Insert battery
Place the battery back into the display unit and gently press it into place. Make sure that it is centered.
Connecting the connection cable

Reconnect the selected connectors.
Connect fingerprint sensor

Reconnect the fingerprint sensor connector cable to the marked slot.
Connect battery

Reconnect the battery by carefully connecting the connector to designated port.
Install upper board cover
8 × 4,0 mm Phillips

Now put the upper board cover back on and fasten it with the appropriate screws.
Test replacement display
We now recommend you to test the display or the complete phone once before you reattach the back cover

Turn on the phone for this and call up the hidden test menu.
Open the phone app for this and enter asterisk - hash - zero - asterisk - hash.

Attach back cover
Put the back cover back on and carefully click it all over.
Make sure that all clips really snap into place
Insert sim card holder
The last thing to do is to put the sim card holder back in place.
