    1. The back cover is glued to the chassis. Heat the back cover with a heat gun to soften the glue.
    2. Attach a suction cup to the lower end of the device and pull on it while pressing down the chassis with a plastic pick.
    3. As soon as a gap appears between the chassis and back cover, insert the pick into it.
The back cover is painted on the inside. Remove any adhesive residue carefully to avoid scratches or cracks.
    4. Move the pick once around the entire device to completely detach the glue. If you have more than one pick, you can insert one at each corner.
    5. Take off the back cover.

    1. Carefully disconnect the battery from the logic board by gently using the spudger as a lever.
    2. The battery is attached to the device by a Phillips screw. Remove the screw, which is screwed through the battery’s plastic eyelet and into the enclosure.
      1 x 3.0 mm Phillips screw
    3. Using the spudger, lift the battery a little bit out of the enclosure. Now you can put the spudger at the plastic eyelet where the screw used to be.
    4. Remove the battery from the device.

    1. Position the back cover on the chassis. Press it on firmly along all the edges so the chassis and back cover are securely glued together.
    2. If necessary, heat the back of the device so it will stick better. It helps to clamp the device so there’s constant pressure on the back cover.
